Our General Membership meets on the 3rd Monday of the month (except July & August) @ 7:00PM at the Ford’s Colony – Swim & Tennis (S&T) Club facility.

Have you heard that Cox Communications is getting out of hosting email service?  If you have an email address ending in “@cox.net” – you are among those whose email accounts will be affected.  Cox has engaged Yahoo Mail to take over hosting email for former @cox.net email customers.  By now, most of those affected have gotten advance notice of these impending changes; and some already have been notified that their accounts have been transitioned.

Want to find out how to get yourself armed to successfully transition from Cox email to Yahoo email and retain your Cox email address; and how to get all the devices you use for email updated and working?  That’s this month’s topic at the Computer & Technology Club Meeting – April 15, 2024 at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be hosted in the Magnolia Room at the Swim & Tennis facility and simulcast on Zoom.

The club also hosts Special Interest Groups (SIG). These SIGs usually meet on the Wednesday immediately following the General Membership Meeting. The SIG meets at 7 PM at the S&T Club. Presently there are three (3) Special Interest Groups: iOS (Apple iDevices), Windows 10, and MAC (Apple computers). The specific SIG group meetings rotate from month to month (i.e. usually only one group will meet in a given month). Details on which group will meet will be announced at the General Membership meetings.
